These are the Templates that are most used on this site.

Page Templates with "Sidebars"

Most pages on the Meridies Wiki should use a Template with a Sidebar.

Meridies Wiki makes use of the Boilerplate extension, which allows a boilerplate template to be selected from a drop down box located above the edit form when creating new pages. The following are the templates that exist in this form, and when they should be used:

  • Populace - Put on every individual's page
  • Household - Put on Household pages, or other unofficial groups
  • Guild - Put on guild pages
  • Reign - Put on the Crown Reign pages
  • Coronet (Principality) - Put on Principality Coronet Reign pages
  • Baronage Tenure - Put on Baronage tenure's page
  • Horse - Put on horse pages
  • Kingdom Award - Put on a Kingdom award page
  • Territory - Put on Territory pages, or other official groups
  • Regalia - Put on each regalia page
  • Event - Put on an event page
  • Activity - Put on activity pages

If something happens to the template during editing, navigate to its "Template Talk" page as listed below. Next, copy the wiki markup from there and paste it into the edit text area of the page that is being edited. Then replace "placeholder" content with relevant content.

Bottom Templates

To use a bottom template, add the name of the template within double braces to the page markup. For example, "{{officers}}" should be added to officers pages.

Admin Templates

To use a admin template, add the name of the template within double braces to the page markup. For example, "{{stub}}" should be added to stub pages.
