Coronation

The physical Crowns are physically kept by the kingdom Seneschal(e) between the stepping down and stepping up courts. This is of the ways the continuity of the legal Crown is kept.

One of the ways the continuity of law is kept is the Kingdom Seneschal(e) either crowns or is in physical contact with the person crowning the King and Queen.

The outgoing Crown "dies" to provide a reason for the heri to assume the throne. This is one of the oldest traditions of Meridies, and where our daughter kingdoms do it, it started here.
